Description
This course compiles and summarizes the official coding guidelines concerning the most common yet complex diagnosis coding issues. The course is organized according to the ICD-9 manual. Each chapter is organized by (1) Issues (2) Coding clarification (3) Physician Documentation Issues, and (4) Coding Scenarios. Real life coding problems illustrating the issues are presented with ICD-9-CM solutions. This eleven week 39 hour course is offered on line via the Internet. Student must have access to an email account. You will have the luxury to study at home using your personal computer. Cost $260 (cost of book and CD-ROM not included)
