Description

This course is Part 1 of the ESOL Bridge Phlebotomy Program. It is an intensive 90-hour medical ESOL course designed for intermediate English language learners preparing to enter healthcare training programs. It focuses on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through healthcare-related content and professional communication used in U.S. healthcare settings.

The course is centered on English language development only and does not include clinical instruction or medical skills training. Instruction emphasizes healthcare communication, academic reading, and professional language use, with integrated practice in pronunciation and real-world workplace interactions. All materials are based on authentic U.S. healthcare contexts and include curated American-accent multimedia resources.
