Description

Harnessing the power of the wind to produce electricity can be fascinating; but this course can make it a reality... This course offers the basic knowledge and preliminary kills necessary to become acquainted with the installation, maintenance, and production of a wind turbine to produce electricity. Theory and hands-on practice are combined to ensure that students become confident in tackling the project of building a small wind turbine in class. Through the upcoming RCC Green Technology Research Center (GTRC) students will be acquainted to the preliminary processes towards green technology research and tool production. This course is ideal for those seeking a career in renewable and alternative energy.
