Description
Prerequisite: ESL 036 or placement.
This is the final Academic Note-Taking and Presentation course of the ESOL sequence. Students will take lecture notes and give increasingly complex oral presentations, with visual support, in academic environments. This advanced course is designed for students with a strong foundation in spoken English who will benefit from intensive practice and direction to integrate grammatical structures accurately into spoken English as preparation for college courses. Attention will be given to rhetoric and style with varying levels of formality.
