Prerequisites: Grade of 80% or better in HLT 175 Corequisites: HLT 250 Fundamentals of Radiobiology and HLT 254 Clinical Practicum Major topics include skull, facial and sinus anatomy and positioning. Myelography, arthrogaphy, angiography and skeletal surveys will be introduced. Special radiographic procedures will also be covered including computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. Phantom radiography and role-playing prepare the student for practical application of the procedures in the assigned radiology department in health care agencies.Course placement: Fall Semester-second year
