PREREQUISITE: ENG 101This course introduces students to many of the major themes and practices of world religions and examines the role of religion in the world today. Students will study what constitutes a religious experience, the nature of faith, the function of ritual, the impact of secularization, and the role religious traditions have in social and personal transformation.
