PREREQUISITE: ENG 101This course is a survey of the visual arts, covering a variety of artistic and cultural styles. With an emphasis on the role of perception, students will explore the art of Africa, Egypt, India, China, Japan, and Greece, as well as Medieval and Renaissance art, and will discuss the impact of each of these styles or periods on Western civilization.
