PREREQUISITE: HUM 303
This course builds on Fundamentals of Music Theory I. Emphasis is placed on meeting of standards of advanced music theory placement exams for four-year colleges and universities. The course will further develop the students' skills in music reading, writing, and analysis. Students will continue their analysis of more complex musical pieces from a variety of musical traditions, employing both European and non-European forms of analysis.
