PREREQUISITE: 18 CREDITS IN IST CORE AND A MINIMUM 2.0 GPA.An internship provids the student an excellent way to gain relevant work experience and apply principles and issues raised in the academic discipline to a work environment. This course is a blend of classroom study and work experience related to the student's major option. Student's benefit by applying knowledge aquired in course work to a job environment by developing their skills, and by learning and understanding Information Technology. Job interviewing skills and resume-writing workshops are required. Placement monitoring, evaluation, and support for job-keeping and problem solving are provided. Students must be available to work a minimum of 10-20 hours per week for at least 10 weeks.
