Description
A study of Hypertext markup Language (HTML) and the creation of effective web pages for use on the Internet. Students will explore the building blocks of the language, applying each facet of the course from concept to content of extensive web page development. Topics covered include; creating and building web pages with HTML and other web page construction tools, tables, frames, dynamic HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), hyperlinks, image embedding, client side image maps, client-side scripts, managing files, administering web sites, and managing commerce on the web. An extensive inter-active final project will be completed in this class. This is a required course for the Web Design Program.
