Description
This is an introduction of Roxbury, MA from its 17th Century colonial history, through its suburbanization in the 19th Century, through its Irish, African, and Jewish heritage in the 19th and 20th Centuries, to its present-day struggles to achieve both social justice and economic and political equality. Classes include trolley tours and site visits. Cost $150 (plus and additional $10 registration fee).
