Description
Food preparation in hotel, hospital, and restaurant kitchens is in demand and has become a great career opportunity in Boston. Students will learn the composition of basic menus and recipes, weights and measures, standardization, kitchen procedures, safety, and sanitation. This course, which will be offered on the main campus and in Mattapan prepares students for an entry level position as a Food and Beverage Specialist while introducing them to the culinary arts profession.
