Description

Students enrolled in these courses learn important information relative to electrical power generation through solar, wind, biomass, and hydro technologies. They learn the benefit of using these environmentally-friendly types of energy as opposed to the traditional energy sources. They are introduced to the basic concepts of wind and solar energy production and are acquainted to the technologies and devices in used today to produce wind and solar energy. This course also provides a hands-on opportunity for students through the use of various gadgets in the lab. This course is a prerequisite to the following two courses.
