PREREQUISITES: ENG 101 eligible, IST 120 (CIS 141), and college-level mathematics **Formerly CIS 255**This course covers the elements of object-oriented programming and the Java Programming Language. Topics covered include object-oriented programming constructs, such as primitive data types, input/output, control structures, methods, classes, and arrays. Students will gain programming skills by writing short programs in order to demonstrate an understanding of the course.
